I am by no means experienced with the AT but in that I have tried to adjust mine below 3# I would be interested in what others have to say... I was finally able to get it to 2.5# but that was with a lot of grunting. That little screw can be hard to turn...
8-)I have adjusted Accu-triggers to lower than adjustable pull levels at times.
The spring notch cut away as shown by some pictures here is ok but it adds little adjustment to the trigger.
The key to doing it right is the angle at the trigger detent and the bolt release. This point has a flat area that leads into a sloping release point. Polishing the release point is the best option for lighening the trigger pull. It is also the most critical. If you stone too much the trigger will have an inconsistent pull.
