A new lock

Here's a pretty lousy photo of a lock that I just completed yesterday evening. It's a ca. 1800 lock from somewhere like Philadelphia or Lancaster. It has actual, genuine color case hardening. Sparks as well as any lock I have ever done, and actually seems to be not very picky with flints. It's going on a ca. 1810 Berks county "barn gun". I'll have photos on the album as soon as I get the gun finished (which will likely be before the end of the month)

Got my tenons in and pinned this afternoon. Lock inletting is next.
