Ok Spool now you got Doug & I debating as to where this was taken. He thinks it's in Rye Cove area. I think it's in the Hilton's/ Carter's Valley area. Are either of us right?
Is that your son? Tell us more about the picture. As the old saying goes, inquiring minds want to know.

Well inquire no more. It should have said 2003, I goofed the date. We took the buck off one of our farms here in Nickelsville. That is my son. He is five now and he has been deer hunting with me since he was 2. He has gotten cold several times but he stays until dark no matter how cold. I can't even think about leaving him at home. He is in school this year and I am sure going to miss him being with me. I guess I will have to take him every evening. This photo was during rifle season and I shot him with the trusty ole 25-06. If I'm not carring my savage frontstuffer you can bet it will be my 25.
Later, Spool

He sure looks like he is enjoying himself.
Have you noticed the game book this year? Not only did they open seasons up a week earlier than in the past, but they increased the bag limit by 2 antlerless this year.
