I have been teaching her and her son how to shoot over the last two years. She said that she wanted to go out and try deer hunting. I took her and a 25-06 that was my dads (watching from above I suspect), and headed off to my brother's deer blind. My brother is off in Kansas on a hunt, and he has the nicest blinds on the 360 acres, get the idea I also built it. On day one, nothing but does. Day two of the last four days of rifle season more does but they are real spooky. Right at sunset the two does out front at about 185 yards get real jittery and lite off. I open the window and am glassing with my 8 x 40 roof prism Nikons (great optics) and I see this guy walk out to the left of where the does were. I give her the binos and she sees the buck. I give her the 25-0 and tell her to make sure she squeezes the trigger and to watch the deer in the scope. She fires and I see the buck race off with his tail down. She said did I get him? All I saw was an orange flash (no flinch there) I said yup and after some swamp tracking there he was. 150 years of guys hunting out there bested by the little blonde. I am soooooo proud of her. She will be there on the night before opener to hang up her buck on the walls where only my dad's 8 from years ago hangs. All the others are out west or from "up there" mounts. Not hard to look at and can shoot to boot! Thank you Lord!

I resized your image and uploaded it for you. It's not nearly as large as it was.

MamaFlinter,
Thank you for your help. I asked her about it and she seemed okay with the idea of joining the board. We like to do most everything together and she is my best friend and the greatest mother I know. She loves the outdoors and I think she will fall right in this muzzle stuffing sport. Life is good. RAF,
MamaFlinter fixed my picture and it is there now. Need to get better on this picture thing fast. I have some N200 that I am going to work up some loads on and promised to post them and I know pictures of targets and groups are going to be part of it. My new 10 ML-II is only four days from here according to the UPS thing. I am giddy!

"Need to get better on this picture thing fast."
I had a tough time at first until I did it a few times. THen it makes sense. The instructions are at the top of the page in this forum. What I did was print them out and followed them step by step. After a couple of pics, it's a breeze.
