This a a coyote and my ruger 25-06, I shot this yote last fall as it was being a nuisance near my residence. This female weighed around 40 lbs and had nursed a litter. ![]()  |

It seems you have some awful big coyotes in NY as seen in an e-mail I received recently. New York State. state record coyote .... And there are people that think coyote's are cute. Subject: n.y.s. state record coyote .... N.Y.S. state record Coyote N.Y.S. D.E.C. game commission officer Bob Doe confirmed that this was indeed a new New York state record coyote . Its official weight was 115 pounds, it is a very large male and was shot during the regular deer season just out side the town of Hilton It has been spotted on several different occasions chasing deer & live stock dogs and cats.  |
