I have probably overlooked this information here previously, but has anyone tried the Harvester .45 crush rib sabots for .40 bullets in comparison to the standard light blue sabots that they sell? If so, how did they hold up and shoot compared to the light blue? Obviously i am addressing the guys with .45 rifles! ;D Thanks, KerryB

Tick shot a five shot group with his new 45 yesterday and only difference between the 2 lite blue sabots was the crush rib shot 1/2 inch higher ..so seems the difference is hardly nil ... pressure loading them was almost same also my guess crush ribs maybe shoot a small fraction faster..we took chrony but never shot over it

Guess these are new enough that nobody has done much accuracy testing yet. I gotta get some and start comparing with the light blue model. I sure do like the BCR with .458 bullets in my .50 and am hoping i will like the .45 version just as well.......

I didn't even know they even made the .45 crushed rib until I was going to order sabots last weekend. Then when they both were the same color I was really messed up. I order the old style and haven't heard of anybody trying the new until today.

I'm very pleased with my barrel Dave D.. Worst group of the day was about 1 1/2" but Nitro noticed my Lead Sled DFT had some lose parts on it. They have been fixed and ready for the next trip. I'll let you know when I get some more shooting time in but right now, I'm very pleased! I did shoot 4 different powder combos and the EZ & CR sabots. All seem to do extremely well.

I like the DFT model. It lets me get the most out of the gun. I like to know the gun is shooting to the best of it's and my abilities before hunting. I keep about 40 lbs on it for range work and have had no problems with any scope issues.
