Glad to see someone else enjoys eating bass! One of favorites! My buddies give me the riot act whenever I reach for the live well lid to throw one of those tasty puppies in there!LOL! They think all bass should be released! NOT!

Let 'em release all they want. More for me.
Cut the fillets into two or three inch squares. THEN batter and fry. Very very tasty.

Read an article a couple of days ago. The author's view is that for most species, catch and release is playing with your food.
