A couple of months ago my good buddy Dwight invited me to go striper fishing with him. Well we got together friday the 30th of May for our fishing trip. We started out catching some live bait and then began the quest for lunker stripers. Dwight set out the prescribed number of rods with bait at various depths. We trolled around for an hour or two all the while talking, joking and becoming even closer friends. All of sudden Dwight yells "fish-on", he grabbed the rod and handed it to me, wow, the fight had begun! Talk about a fish that can fight, right up there with King Salmon, pull, tug, brisk runs, dodging, terrific action is all I can say. I was finally able to get the fish close to the boat and Dwight got the net under him, man what a fish!! Dwight put the scale on him and had me hoist him for the picture. 25.2 lbs of muscle and a beautifull Striped Bass Thank you my friend and good buddy Dwight. I will always remember this day in God's great outdoors! This was truly a blessed experience. p.s. My birthday was May 27th, wow what a birthday present.

Jack is a true gentleman to fish with, and he is welcome on my boat anytime. Besides anybody that meets me at the boat ramp carrying a pie is obviously a real smart feller! Thanks Jack it was mighty tasty.

WOW thats a BEAUTIFUL fish. sounds like a great time. time hunting or fishing with your friends is precious and invaluable, even if you dont catch a thing. the sharing of a catch like that just makes it more memorable.
