Just put on a new set of Thompson fully adjustable sights on my Thompson Omega and do not like the V stlye rear sight and the rounded fiber optic front blade. I like the old stlye sights with a square front sight and matching rear. Am thinking of attaching a piece of metal to the rear and filing out a nice square sight picture, but am wondering what I can use to build up the front sight and then file away the excess to make a nice square front blade? Am thinking JB Weld may work, but am wondering if there is another product that would work better?
