a quick question. do you measure by volume your black powder or do you weigh your powder for accuracy? just for fun i decided to weigh the loads i measured by volume to see the difference and was surprised to see how big of a difference it was, almost 6 grns some times. if you weigh a charge do you see a difference in accuracy compared to by volume?

I volume measure 10 charges and then weigh them all, then take the average and then weigh my charges to that number. Mike

I think a lot of target shooters preweigh some vials of blackpowder to be consistent. The also weigh their lead roundballs. Chunk gun shooters are fanatics about the details.
