this view is one I see from my primary shooting window. The tree with the white ring is 136 yards. The woodline is 173. I plan to place a target at the 100 yard line and the 150 and can practice from inside my window during bad weather. I built a shelf to accomidate my rangemaster rifle rest.

This feeder is thrity yards from the window. Many acorns this year so nothing is coming to the feeder.

A great looking set up Ben. That would be a great place to video some deer kills, or turkey.

Is that buck visiting the feeded only at night Ben??? It seems to be the case at present Kevin. This is normal during this moon phase and since it is prior to the primary rutting season. When the rut gets into full swing bucks will be roaming over the countryside rather than staying in their core area. This particular buck may not even be in this area in a couple or three weeks. Many will be passing through the area because it is also a prime area for does. During the rut it is doubtfull if the feeder is used by many bucks. I will hunt from the window beginning November 8th with my.243 and If I spend much time watching I am confident that something worthy of shooting will show up. I may take a fat doe for my daughters freezer also. One mess on inter terderloin, bicuits, cream gravy and fried sweet potatoes per year is about all we really care for. Ben
