I started the season off with this 21" wide heavy 10, shot him at 90 yards with 300 grain XTP & 43 grains 4759. Waited for him to come back in his bedding area.

I claim to be cured of buck fever but if one like that drifted across my shooting lane I would probably start shaking like a leaf in a whirlwind. Great deer. Congratulations. I am curious about weight. Here in Arkansas few deer reach 200 pounds live weight. A good ten here will go around 160-170. Ben

Nice buck. Fat. Good load.
What did he gross? Looks like a solid 140 class.

Grossed 154" bottomed out a 275" scale. Had a 24" neck already with a impressive looking roman nose. Off to Colorado for a plains mule deer hunt with the ml2 on wensday. Thanks for the questions. Jeff~

Very very nice typical 10. If one ever walked up on me like that I would take an old fashioned hockey right there in my pants.
