I own a new Knight .45 Disk Elite and so far I have had nothing but problems with accuracy. I can not get a group less then 4 or 5 inches at ranges between 75 to 100 yrds. I have tried several bullet/load combo's and so far the best I can get is about a 3" group shooting 205gr powerbelt seated on 120gr of 777 at 75yrds. My Knight wolverine will touch holes at 100yrds every day of the week but I can not get this .45 to group. Below are some of the bullet / load combos I have tried, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
275 PwrBlt w loads from 90 to 120gr of 777 223 PwrBlt " " " " " " and Pyrodex 175 Shockwaves " " " " " " " " 200 Knight Lead HP " " " " " pyrodex
Thanks John

Actually its a 1-30 twist. reading in this post other guys are not having the same problems I am having. I refuse to spend $35 for a 10oz can of powder when I shouldn't have to in order to get 100yd "hunting" accuracy out of this gun. Thanks for the reply!

When I first got my Knight DE .45 cal, I had decent performance with the 195 gr Dead Centers and 120 gr of Pyrodex RS. It shot ok, but not near as good as the BH209 does.

Why aren't you shooting a quality bullet in a MMP or Harvester sabot with quality powder, either BH 209 or BlackMag or Triple 7 FFFg powder. Put those powerbuilt in the round file and shoot the barnes 195 gr or the 200 gr xtp with sabots designed for them. pyrodex rots the barrel as well as the receiver/bolt, the smoke will keep away the bugs and smell out your neighbors on the range. I had an omega 45 that didnt shoot good until I tried 275gr powerbelts and 150gr(3pellets) of PYRODEX. Then it shot inch groups @ 100yards for 3 shots.
something to consider.
