This is my first post at this website, and I think this forum is the appropriate place.
I am a handloader and have posted at the same reloading website for years. Unfortunately, I have had to watch it deteriorate over the last several, and it has gotten to the point that I do not any longer feel that I am among my own kind (with a few notable exceptions). I am conservative libertarian, I love America and the Constitution, and I am a Christian. I bought into all those old-time concepts like fidelity, patriotism, loyalty, and honesty---without reservation. I am often shocked at the number of people who put on the act of thinking in the same way, but reveal otherwise when they are required to play their hand. I believe there are absolutes and I abhor relativism. I am not perfect by any stretch, and I know why, and I know what I must do about it!
So, tell me: am I in the right place? Can I express my disdain for liberalism and love for tradition without being skewered for it here on this website? Am I among my own kind here?

I think perhaps the back porch section would be a more appropriate place for you to vent you views. But, it isn't up to me. I can say this, you will get feedback. Some will agree with you and some will not. How you fare on this forum depends on your attitude and opinions. I believe we are willing to listen and decide how you strike us. Me? I just sit here and read, judge and classify folks as worthy or useless. LOL> Ozark.

Hhmmm...I think maybe I did not express myself precisely. I can see where you may get the impression that I want to trumpet my views incessantly and never meet any disagreement. No, that is not what I meant! That would be like locking myself in the closet and talking to myself. I would, however, like to be able to read through the forums and not see a lot of vitriol aimed at Christians and those who hold to traditional values.
I suppose that was just my way of introducing myself and letting the folks around here know that I am a Christian and that I want to be a part of this community. Thanks for your response, ozark.
