This morning around 8am a 16 in 6 pt made his presents looking for a doe He wouldn't respond to any calling even a doe bleat I stood up and picked an opening 39 yds checked with my lazer range finder What I found out since I missed a doe this morning and lost a good buck yesterday Both shots were sitting down also both shots were 25yds or less I noticed that the scope views differently from sitting to standing seems the eye relef changes I account this for my misfortune on the other shots The scope is a stock truglo with the crosshairs I intend to do some range time after all the rest of the seasons are over I was using fixed blade thunderheads 125 well for now its over to jersey to try to fill another tag

I haven't noticed any diffrence in my X Bow shooting from a sitting position,or standing during shooting it? I CAN get into a better shooting position standing if the shot is behind,or to the side at a steep angle (read close),but for longer shots (20yds +) I can rest my elbows on the rail of my stand and shoot much steadier. Shots at a steep angle are tough,no matter what you are shooting. Good Luck In Jersey! Ron
