Well, I am in the Army and currently deployed to Afghanistan but am home on my R&R leave. Well my R&R could not have went better. My buddy asked if I wanted to go to the farm he acquired permission to hunt and I readily agreed. We bowhunted the area on the monday before and I took a nice big doe and I liked the area. He suggested that I take up a position in the ground blind overlooking a oak flat above one of the fields. I told him I wasn't all that comfortable in a blind but he somewhat insisted so I accepted. This big boy showed up the morning of opening within 15 minutes of light. 14 points and a few other numbs that bring the total to 18. My recuperation is complete. I head back on Wed the 19th. Good luck out there guys. Ed

The highest of CONGRATULATIONS. Was gonna say "sir" but I can just tell from your face you work for a living!
Give everyone you see over there our best on these Holidays. You are doing a super job of keeping the World safe and we all appreciate it way more than you know. Pay NO attention to the US TV News.
Congrats on a MONSTER deer. I am way happier that you got it than if I had.
Good luck. Keep your powder dry.
