what i got was a traditions pursuit pro in .45 cal. .i like the gun just fine except for the trigger pull . its hard to be accurate with a trigger that you can't hardly squeeze . it has a lot of travel and hard to pull . has anyone on here ever worked on the trigger on one of these or know any one that has ? i'm a newbe here and to black powder . so get out your notes i'll have a bunch of questions i'm sure .

Why not call Traditions and complain. Tell them you want a trigger job. Can't hurt to try.

i got the trigger down to 4 pounds . i figured i better stop there before i had trigger pull at all . i checked the trigger with the scales before i started and it was 11 pounds before it went off . why in the world would you make a gun with a 11 pound trigger ?

why in the world would you make a gun with a 11 pound trigger ? Simple. Liability. Manufactures are scared to death of being sued.
