Odd request but does anyone know what the true diameter is for a 35 caliber bullet? I'm looking to substitute some 35 caliber Nosler partion polymer tipped bullets to go into my .45 caliber muzzleloader sabots. The existing bullets are listed as .357 caliber but actually measure .353 to .3535. Just wondering if the 35 caliber bullets are truely .357 or do they run a tad bit undersize as well? Thanks.

I have 2 types. The 200 gr Remington round nose bullet mikes at .3575" and the Hornady Flex tip mikes at .3568". My micrometer is old and has not been calibrated for a long time, me too for that matter. We are both still confident in our accuracy. I miked the Flex tip just ahead of the cannelure on a loaded cartridge. The Remington bullet is loose.
