Here is a site that will give you 100 MB free. All you have to do is sign up. I'll make this a sticky so it'll stay at the top of the forums. www.photobucket.com

I've been using that one for some time now. I'll second that recommendation. Thanks Mama!

Ourway it could be that your image is too large and it only holds a certain size image as the max. Let me play with the image you sent me and I'll see if I can post it.

To anyone who knows the answer, can you recommend a AFFORDABLE digital camera that will take pictures with a high enough quality that they will post well? Or in other words what digital camera do you use, are you happy with, whats it cost/is it afordable, and what extras do you need with to be able to post pics?
Thanks, Arthur.

First off there are lots out there that will work, in fact they will all work well for the purpose you describe. I personally have 2. Bought one last year for around $600. A panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5. Bought it to replace a minolta 4 MP which I leave at the lake. That one runs somewhere in $200 - $300 when I got it. The only reason I bought the new one is to get more zoom power. The new one goes to 12X and great for those long shots at deer. As I said at the out set, anything out there now will work. Check at you camera shops, and electronic stores. They'll have them in all price ranges. Then it's just a matter of finding one with the features you want and in your price range. IMO evan a cell phone with picture taking feature will work but usually you'll need sofeware and cables to down load the pictures.

I tried to host my own pictures on my website, but finally gave up and posted them to photobucket. Now it works fine. Before it worked some times and not others. I have hundreds of photos on that site that work great, but a tiny little avatar is a no go!! Go figure.

I typically use tinypic.com for images not on my picturetrail account. No sign up required and I know of no quota.
