I have a buddy that can get Goex BP thru a place in Missouri. I'll try and find the address for you. May be a week or so till I talk with him.
I know it will involve a haz-mat fee and possibly a FFL. Either way, we will be buying a bunch soon to off-set those costs. I'll let you know when I know.

If you know anybody that goes to the NMLRA shoot in Friendship, Indiana, ask them to pick you up some. If you are going to swithch from Goex, try Triple 7.

indiana, i have tried T-7 and i havent found a load that my gun likes. i shoot a T/C PA hunter wich is a 1:66 twist for patch and round ball. i just think that the patch and RB doesnt like it.

You might want to try a bore button over your T7 charge to protect the patch.

If you have enough friends that shoot Goex black powder; and you can put together an order for 25 pounds of Goex in any combination of fg's; you can get it at around $11.85 +/- per 1 pound can. The only thing need is for who ever put the order in, has to fill out and fax or mail a disclaimer form to them. It, and the info is on the site. They also sell other powders. Our reenacting group orders a couple time a year. So, here's the site. > www.powderinc.com/catalog/index.html

ok i got out today and did some shooting with my flint lock. i tried the pyrodex and it shot ok groups BUT it was hard to ignite also. i would get a decent pause from flash pan to BOOM. it was good for me though because it showed me that i still held steady and i didnt flinch much at all. i think im going to just have to get some goex. well the sighting in went well till my sights loosened up and i didnt notice till it almost came off ramp. i was wondering why i was shooting so high. and i kept holding lower but POI didnt change then i forgot my allen wrench set and had to go home. all that happened as i was shooting at deer target to get use to the sights. since deer dont have bulls eyes on them. ;D still all shots would have been dead deer.

ok up date still couldnt find goex close by so my local gun store sold me some BP called Schuetzen. it works very nice and and he keep it in stock. but my flint lock is sighted in for 50 yards. here is a pic of the first 2 shots after i tightened my sights back down. i got lucky and they where right there. now i figured these where good so i put up up a deer target cause its a little different than a reg target and deer dont have bulls eyes on them ;D. the first shot was high and the second was to the right but the last 2 i think i can live with. i think all where kill shots so im happy.
