I am looking for a good 222 rem rifle for pdogs. Not many made any more. Can be new or a used one in vg to excellent condition.

Keep your eyes peeled on the internet gun auctions also. I know, I just love my 222. It is a Rem. 722 that I glass bedded and floated, into a Rem. 700 BDL stock. The gun has never missed ;D but I have!

If you can find a remington 788 in .222 or a older sako they are awesome. the sako is prettier, but all the 788's I have had and shot were tack drivers. Rifleman

I traded a shotgun for my rem. 222. I have found it to be very accurate, Leaves nasty exit hole with 50 grain bullet now trying 40. Have yet to pull the trigger on yote this year. 22-250 will be my next rifle but for now the 222 has served me well

I once had ( and sold ) a varmint winchester model 70 in 222.
That thing sure was a tack driver - it was kinda beat up when I bought it, but it sure shot well. SHoulda kept it !

I just got a new Ruger M77 SS 24" barrel in 222 rem. Fits very good. I'm in the breakin process now. It's shootin nice now, I'll be lookin for a standard load soon.
