Here is a pic of a Canadian Timber Wolf my Dad took in Quebec while hunting bear up in the Gracefield area about 150 miles north of Ottawa. He was shot along Mere Blu Lake while Dad and I were crossing lake in a small boat to to get to our bear treestands one evening. The wolf was combing the shoreline. It was one hella of a shot the ole man pulled off out of the boat. My guess was about 100 yds and good water wasnt too choppy or he never could of made the shot. Killed with a 30-06 using 180 grain core locks. Weighed in at 70 lbs and length about 5 1/2 feet. Dad said the next wolf we saw I could shoot. Well, after many years huntin up there it was our only sighting. So glad Dad got him though. www.hunt101.com/img/149398.jpg [/img]
