The only guns to use the 14 or 114 designation were the 14W/114W. These were special ordered by a distributor and featured a Turkish walnut stock in place of the usual birch hardwood. They also had the old style trigger. Everything else on the gun was the same as any 11G base model. Most were sold online via the auction sites for between $300 and $350.
For 2005 Savage is coming out with a new rifle. The new Model 14/114 American Classic rifles feature Savage's new feeding system in a detachable box magazine. The magazine feeds from the center. The American Classic also features a satin lacquer American Walnut stock and 3-point checkering. The barrel and action have a high luster blued finish. Barrel features no sights, and the action is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. MSRP $616.00
