Got the first chuck of the year yesterday. He surprised me in the 22*F weather. It did take me two shots to nail him at 250 yards. First was just high. ;D

What did you nail him with? Was it the ML10-II?

Naw, I used my 6.5mm 85HP over 43.75gr of 4350. I am of the inclination of using the lighter weight loads of a modern breech loading firearm, but I haven't had the chance to get the new 222 zeroed at 200 yds. I hope this make sense.....

Oh, it makes perfect sense......
Using my .243 the past few years with 55 gr NBT's at almost 4,100 fps and <MOA has spoiled me too.
The Savage 10ml-II is going into the lineup this year as a designated hitter. Used sparingly in the right situation.
