I acquired and set up a digital game camera in March of this and it has really been an eye-opening educational experience. I now realize how poor a hunter I am, I am amazed by all the unseen deer, turkey and other critter activity, and I am amazed by the rapid antler growth of deer. Check these out if I have figured out how to make the picture posting work. These pictures are the same deer in less than a month.

WOW That is gonna be a nice deer. I guess we never really give it much thought about how fast the antlers grow unless we are photographing them or see the same deer on a regular basis.
Glad you got the pictures posted.

mamaflinter, the deer is legit but I have to admit I cheated on getting the pictures posted, edge helped out. I think I know how to post now but thinking and doing are sometimes two different things.

Nice pic there rdtimmjr! That growth is surely amazing. See you have both the regular mineral block plus salt there.

Hey rdtimmjr,
I cannot see the pics. I can see you are using hunt101 for a host for your pics. Hunt101 always seems to be down or exceeding their bandwith so you may want to try using another host for your pics in the future. I like webshots but there are many out there.
I also have been out quite a bit scouting and have been following a certain deer that is quite bigger than the rest. I don't have a digital camera but do have some nice video. He is definately one of those deer that make your jaw drop. Have fun with your new camera and I hope to see some more pics in the future from ya.

I'm wondering now if the stealth Monty helped me out?

I'm wondering now if the stealth Monty helped me out? Helped you out how? He couldn't have helped post the pictures since he isn't a moderator. The only ones with the ability to modify the post would be administrators or moderators.

mamaflinter, edge helped me out, I was just accusing him of being the stealth Monty, but he has already straightened me out on that also.
