We manged to get out yesterday after the ice storm.Should have stayed at home.It was awful hard to "sneak" in!But, we could not stand to sit at home! All we saw was a hungry yote, 30-40 geese.Hopefully the weather man has a better forecast for us tomorrow....

Went through that last week, took a weeks vacation for ML only to have half a foot of snow (great!) then get an inch of ice on top of it (not so great).
The snow and ice pushed the deer to yard up early, herds of 5-20 deer in the middle of the day out in the open. Trying to get close was impossible but gave it a crack anyhow. And that is just what walking sounded like, each step sounding the same as the crack of a gun. Single digits below zero and wind chill of teens and twenties below didn’t help things. Stuck it out for all but the last day, my season is over. Good Luck! And please keep nailing those yotes.
