Ohio's muzzleloading season ended today. I had to drop my daughters off at the Columbus airport today so they could go back to work. It is about a two hour drive for me. I have made the trip many times. I saw one hunter in the field today. I saw 10 deer on the way down and over 75 on the way back. These deer were not running but feeding. That is the most I have ever seen on that trip. It looks like alot of hunters missed out on an excellent day of hunting. I would have liked to have been out first thing this morning (I would have had time before the trip) but in this part of Ohio only one deer can be taken with a firearm.
