Does anyone have a suggestion (easier) on how to load a Barnes 300 MZ Expander? I tried one and had to holler for help. My 6'3", 220 pound nephew almost broke my ramrod trying to get it down the barrel using both hands and a T-handle. Took him the best part of five minutes. There's no way my 72-year-old body would be able to get it past the short starter without a steel rod and a shop hammer. If I ever got one half-way down, I would never be able to pull it out - short of a winch.
Would a rub of Stumpy's Moose Milk help?
Life is much more simple if you plow AROUND the stump!

Go to the Savage Muzzleloading forum and look under "Anyone try these in the Savage" I think they may help.
