I found one NIB at a local store on clearance. It is a Stainless on a composite stock. Can anyone give me any info on when these were manufactured and what the going cost of one was. I am thinking of going back for it and doing a little bargaining and need some ammo to work with.
Thanks DC

i dont know exactly what year they were invented but were dropped approx 2 years ago,i own two ss & they shoot great, one flaw is in the bolt(gumming up)if you take apart often they are ok (high maintenance) however they have been some of the best groups out to 300yds before getting sav2 ss. what price are they asking as i might let one of mine sell?

They want 340 for it which seemed a little high. I found out Rem quit production in 2004 so they have had this on the shelf since then. I have since located a 45cal disc Extreme that I am going to get later this week. I am looking forward to shooting some 195 / 200 grain bullets for a change and not getting beat up so bad.

im not trying to pursuade you in any event, but the 700ml is very recoil light, you can load these w/80/-100gns bp/& or t-7 with very mild recoils& very accurate. they are great for youngsters & beginners & so called experts!
