;)If you build, fix or just tinker around with your firearms; you need to become friendly with your dentist. The next time you have an appointment, ask your dentist what he does with his older used probes and pick type tools. Also, what about the drills and other tips for shaping? My dentist said he just pitches them in the GARBAGE: oh my! I asked him if he'd save them for me and explained what I wanted them for. Man, what a treasure I found when he said YES ;D to my request. I got sanding discs, bits and collets that sales guys gave him for samples but he never used. I got DIAMOND tip bits and other bits, that he couldn't use on teeth any longer, but they work great on metal and gunstock materials. I got probes, picks and scrapers that are great additions to my carving tools. Your dentist might say NO. But he can't say OK if you don't ask.

I tried that long ago & my dentist donates her used equipment to a charity place & they send it to South America. Good place for them to go IMHO.....
