The Maine Powder House is now selling Goex powder. At this time they only have FFg and FFFg in stock and would think they will have the full line in the near future. The price is $10.80 per can or $270.00 a case and this is the total price including shipping, Haz-Mat and the price of the powder. Just thougth you would like to know.

I know when I sold my recently bought crap powder, I almost felt guilty! But since the warehouses didn't, it soon passed. Now what did you really think of that powder? Some guys have been thrown of boards for talking like this! ;D

;D ;D ;D You tell em Birddog 6; ;D I've never dealt with the "Powder House",.................but I sure have had my fill of "Elephant Powder". About ten years ago me and a buddy thought we had a deal on some "inexpensive" powder. I now know where the expression "White Elephant " comes from. LOL We didn't try to get our money back, and couldn't think of anyone we hated bad enough to try and pawn it off on. We just poured it out and chalked it up to experience. ;D ;D ;D Soggy ;D ;D (that opinion ought to worth .02 cents)

Another way to get rid of Elephant is to mix it with other good known powders. If you take about 15oz. of Goex and add 1oz. of Elephant, you can get rid of it after you are old enough to get to the nursing home! That is if you bought a case of the stuff and are now 18yrs. old and shoot a cannon. hehe On another web site they are talking of a "crud ring". Elephant will make a whole new meaning to the word, "CRUD"! In Webster's new revised dictionary, if you look up the word "crud", you will probably find a can of this powder shown. hehe ;D

;D Hey DaveK; I guess that's what I was trying to say. That powder did resemble "something" that passed through an elephant .LOL ;D. I liked the idea about the cannon. I own one in partnership with a buddy, but it would take forever to use two pounds of powder in it. It's .75 cal and we only load 120 grs. per charge. ;D ;D ;D Soggy ;D ;D

I bought a case of the stuff, and yes, cheap chinese powder is much cleaner, but the elephant is fine for my smoothbore ;D
