I'm converting a 1873 bp cattleman revolver with a drop-in cylinder from r & d. I purchased one for a Ruger old army,45 and it fit and shot well.
The new revolver has a dimension choice depending on the bushing size of the cylinder. You are to measure the bushing and determine whether the size is .080" or .120" to choose between cylinders. Where and how do I measure this? Help, this is my first post.
