Does anyone know how to edit message's here?? I don't see an edit button any where. When I read my post on the Teryiaki recipe, I typed ( 1 teasthingy dry mustard) it posted as" 1 teathingy " dry mustard . I hit the back button on my browser to double check and I had typed it correctly, but when it posted, the wording changed to "teathingy". Now I ain't the most computer savvy person around, but I've never seen anything like this happen before. Help!!! Y.B.

Bill at the top where it says quote below the yellow strip and to the left of quote is a modify button which is between quote and delete. Click on modify and you can correct your post. If it is a reply like mine to you it is still in the same place but straight across to the right of my name. It is on the far right side and to the left of the delete button.

Bill, I went and checked your recipe. Did you figure out how to modify or edit the message? I think it is the language checker running a muck.

Doug, I went back and checked it also. Evidently, when I posted it I wasn't picked up as being logged in, and it posted as me being a guest, and the only icon I'm seeing on that post is the Quote one, the modify option isn't displaying for me. All the screen's I'm on say I'm logged in at the top i.e.(Hey, Yankee Bill, you have 0 messages). Don't know what's up. Y.B.

Yankee Bill At the top of the forum, when you are logged in, will say Hey Yankee Bill and tell you how many new messages you have. This is the private message system built into the board. Someone here can send you a private message that will only be seen by you. If you have a new one, it will say for example, you have 3 messages, 1 is new. Click on that and it will take you to the instant message area where you will be able to read the message(s). When you get on this page, any new messages will have a yellow envelope on the right hand side. After you read them the envelope turns white to signify you have read it.

Thank's Mamaflinter,
I'm familiar with the PM's ;D. When I posted that my name was being displayed there, etc., I was referring to the fact that I didn't know why the post indincated me being a guest, as this info was displaying there, so I had assumed that I was logged in. Sorry for the confussion, and thank's for the help. Y.B.
