I just made a batch of deer jerky and it turned out fine but I would like to make some different kinds.
What recipes are you folks using?
What is the difference between a jerky 'cure' and just plain ol' spices and salt?

Ken. The cure makes the meat safe to eat. The spices add the flavour. i've got several recipes which I'll post later, just getting ready to go the door to join a friend on a white tail hunt.
