Start by breasting the limit of doves (if you're LUCKY)and wash thoroughly
Ingredients: 15 dove breasts 2 eggs 1/2 cup milk 2 cups Lay's wavy potato chips (crushed or rolled) 1 dash black pepper
start by mixing egg and milk together to make batter next, dip dove breasts in batter then coat with potato chip crumbs ( roll or shake in bag) place on lightly greased baking sheet sprinkle with black pepper cover with foil and bake @350 degrees for 45min Uncover last 10min for xtra crispy Doves come out soooo tender they come right off the CLEAN bone, and man- o-man are they Taaaastttyy! stop it! I am foaming at the mouth - we cant hunt doves here in michigan, just like we cant use smokeless during MZ season.......... I gotta move to indiana..... cept I speak too fast for down there -bubba

I've had some luck with a similar recipe on birds and fish using instant potato flakes instead of the chips. Then use your favorite spices: Season All, All Spice, Garlic or Onion salt or powder, Italian sesoning, etc.
