What's your favorite type of meat for chili? Ground or cubed? I like the cubed meat lately, but won't turn down a bowl made with ground meat. Would using cubed meat be considered a cross between stew and chili? Or was the introduction of ground meat in chili an abomination that should've been nipped in the bud? Whatever meat you use, make sure you add some veggies. Nothing more disgusting than chili which is ground meat floating in a red tomatoey sauce!

Ground....or cubed as well. Both are good in conjunction with one another. Ground beef (venison), browned with chunks of pork or beef (venison) work good for me. Protein man....protein! Have enough dark kidney beans and tomatoe sauce in there. Enough minced garlic too. Don't chew the beans too much. let your gut handle that. This will help your friends enjoy it too at about 10:00 am after coffee break
As we speak, I've got a batch of meatloaf going made with ground venison. Whew. Can't wait. The guys at work are gonna love it for sure. phew.
Nothing like sharing the succeses in the kitchen with your friends. ;D
