A couple of days ago saw some sign in the house that we had an unwanted guest. A mouse got in, likely while my wife had the patio doors open for the dog. While cleaning spotted him running for cover. Got him with the 177 pellet gun. Successful head shot dropped him his tracks .

Not surprised at the clean kill. Kinda like hitting someone in the head with a full can of soup going 600-800 fps. That would do it.

Whyohe,
Not to change the subject but we've got one of those....dogs....that you show in your avitar. Wondering if mine is simply retarded or are they all that way. Life revolves soley around eating....NOTHING else matters.
At times I want to.....well.....that's not very nice.

Whyohe. What actually happened was when the little varmint came out from under the fridge it headed for an old(antique) hutch my wife inherited. She headed for the other end of the house . It took a lot of coaxing for her to go get my pellet gun. The little rodent was hiding in the drawer under one of her million cook books. Could just see a piece of him. One shot turned his lights out . Have left the traps set but no more sign and nothing in the traps. We've been in this house since 1973 when we had it build and this is a first .

wilmsmeyer. we had to buy this pug wich we bought over wieght cause our other pug dies at age of 17 and her companion would not stop grieving for 10 months till we brought here home. well she wants to eats alot and is currently 27LBS!!! AND WE EVEN MEASURE OUT HERE FOOD and no treats except pizza crust 1 to 2 times a month!! when we too her to a doggy dermotologist(allergys) he found a thyroid problem that might explain her uncontrolled weight problem. if you have any other questions you can PM me and ill help you as much as i can.

Porky dogs. That's another story. We used to have 2 Shih Tzu's. The male liked to eat. The female was always watching her girlish figure . He used to run(waddle ) to his dish and gobble it up in record time. Then he'd wonder over to her dish and watch and waite. Looked like he was saying, "you going to eat all that". She would never finish it all and he'd dig right in and clean her dish. That might explain why he weighed 26 lbs when he was supposed to be 10-12. We lost him a couple of years ago but the gal she's still with us and weighs in at 10.5 lbs.
