Any one know if a Browning A-Bolt trigger can be adjusted? I bought the rifle used. Or should I just buy a new one that can be adjusted, Timminey etc?

The trigger in the abolt is adjustable. It doesnt go down much tho.
What you need to buy is a timney trigger spring kit and install those, much cheaper than a new trigger, and it will lower it way down there lou.
I believe that midwayusa has them, as do others.

I had my abolt rifle honed and polished plus replaced the factory springs (not sure the make or model spring used) by my gunsmith to get a crisp, no creep 3lb trigger. It was a cash deal and I paid 65 bucks but I believe he usually charges around 100 for "normal" sale ! Like said they really don't adjust much on the factory spring set, well at least in the felt department. I'd take it to a good smith and see what he can do. If you plan to play with it and self adjust later, go with a comp aftermarket trigger.

Thanks I ordered a kit for the A-Bolt, going to give that a try. the rifle is a good shooter without doing nothing to the trigger. I feel with a lighter trigger it will do better.

Have to agree on the shooter part, they do shoot as good as any out of the box. When you get the trigger worked out it should shoot even better.
