I have used one. The concept is good and the scope works as advertised. Years ago the one I used had mediocre optical quality and the reticle was not as fine and sharp as it should have been. They may have improved that by now. For my money I prefer the Leupold Boone and Crocket series or a good scope with target turrets.

I have two shepherd scopes on two different rifles. They both work very well. I can hit clay pigeons 300. 400, 500, 600 yds with no problems. It takes practice and getting use to the scope. I would imagine the other scopes work just as fine. I have a burris ballistic plex mounted on another rifle. It works just as good.
