Below is some of the targets I tested the 2 tikkas I have 308 varmit and 25/06 ss.I have shot a bunch of tikkas that belonged to other people and ALL of them shot better than good. The first target is looking for a load for the 155 a-max the top row middle dot is my rem 7/08 which shoots great also. The 25/06 wouldn't shoot when I got it but sent it back and you can see how it shoots now. 2nd target 300 yd 308 and 130 gr bullet next is 25/06 and a 110 accrubond next 25/06 and a 90 gr sierra next 308 with 168 match bullet

Herman, to post groups like these means you are a fine rifleman, but it also confirms what I've been saying about Tikka: They are underpriced; sooner or later Beretta/Sako is going to price them at least as high as other manufacturers with poorer performing rifles.
Maybe I better buy that 270 WSM, now.

You may better get it now. When I bought the 308 varmit it was $719 if I had gotten it the month before it would have been $650. If they would sell me a varmit in 260 here in the states I would get one in a heart beat.Don't understand why they won't sell the 260 here.

well, if it helps, those 2oz plastic magazines that sell for $50-$70 out to make up for the cheap price of the rifles!

Even the rifles aren't cheap any more. All mags are high I guess because they don't sell many of them. I got 2 new in the box browning mags that I got on trade and the fellow said he gave $80 a piece for them.

Bubba, you made me LOL about the plastic magazines; you're absolutely right, of course although they seem to work okay. I just find them offensive BECAUSE they're plastic.
Great purchase on your T3!

Bubba you must have had the fellow at gun point Let us know how it shoots,I would like to have a 270wsm in the tikka if I didn't allready have one in a browning. I haven't tried the fusion in the 270wsm but if you look in the left hand corner in the pic of the 308 target where it says 270sps that is a 3 shot group with the sps.A fellow at the range let me shoot 3 of his fusions in my new sps. That tikka 270wsm will probably outshoot my browning. Are you going to use the fusions or reloads in it.

I have a .270 Win Tikka in gray laminated, ss stock, Zeiss stainless 4.5-14X40, that I would not trade for any amount of money on Earth. I bought it from Dakota Arms for $619 plus FFL fees.
I gave $38 for a couple of mags from some online place that took forever to find and which I can't find anymore. I hated them at first, too light, but now I like them actually. They work just peachy fine, and are very light. I love a DBM gun, this is only the 2nd I've ever owned, the first is a Win Model 100 .284 that is now in the hands of my #1 Grandson as his 'early inheritance'.......
The Tikka is so good it scares me.
