my grandfather passed and i got his model 721 and the bolt is gone anyone have any ideas. thanks

Seperating the bolt from the rifle is a safety measure. Chances are good that the bolt is located in his house or among shooting supplies. Bolts are not usually interchangable due to the headspace setting. I would question other family members about where he may have stored the bolt. Dresser drawers, night stand drawers are also likely spots.

have talked with everyone and went thru every box several times unless someone pulled a fast one. i really think the man took it and wants to control me.

gunparts lists them for about $135. You may find a used 710 for less than 200 on an auction site.
Sorry for the loss of your Grampa. It seems he has found a way to keep your mind on him. I kind of like curmudgeons.
