My boss took this picture and I liked it so well I asked her to email it to me. Let's see if anyone can guess what it is.

No Loggy it's not a rose. But I'm sure you have seen lots of them. Keep thinking.

Nope try again.
If no one guesses it, in about a week I will come in and tell you what it is.

Looks to me like the state flower of Kansas in the pollen stage -- Wild Sunflower.

It is pretty. I like the little bees on it. Never would have dreamed it is a Dandelion.

Fatdutchman Why did you have to cheat? I'll know next time to rename the image before uploading so you won't be able to do it again.
Yes it is a dandelion. My boss zoomed in on it. That "bee" on the right is a sweat bee and we are still trying to figure out what the bug on the left is. Whatever it is we'd normally never see it as it's so small.

I can't help it...as the picture is loading you can see at the bottom the web address for the photo.
I wish my digital camera would take such good photos! But I don't care to shell out the dough for such a good camera!

I don't know if the picture was taken with digital or 35mm camera. I do know she does have a digital and it appears to be a fine camera and takes good pictures. I just don't know if she uses a 35 mm camera or just the digital.

I showed it to Bob and he guessed sunflower. I bet the little bee on the left is one of those gnats that go straight for your eyes.
