Does anybody else think this young buck's rear legs are unusally long? or front legs too short or something else unusual? He looks funny to me.  |

IMHO, I think he's normal...all 4 knees are basically at the same level.
His shoulder blade looks flexed towards the horizontal and my guess is that the photo caught him in the process of straightening up from having his head down picking up food, etc...I think his body front would come up a few more inches when fully straightened back up...

Thanks for the evaluation roundball. To me he is long legged in the rear but it could just be the pose the game camera caught. I guess he is just in the lanky growth stage and hasn't begun to fill out yet . I'm glad he has the beginnings of a rack and not just spikes or forks. He might make a nice one with the tall rack and body frame in a year or two.
