Just got back from a weekend at my cabin at the lake. Had a few chores to do. Nothing else going on. The lake just froze over a few days ago and the ice isn't safe to go on yet, so fishng was out. After we unpacked had to make a quick trip to the liquor vendor. Long cold nights up here, so need a little antifreeze. There were deer all over the roads. Lots of does and fawns and a couple of smaller bucks. When I got back I put some oats out. It took about 2 minutes and had a buck chowing down. Here's a picture.
As we left there today saw 2 deer in the ditch on the edge of the resort. As we got closer noted they were a good buck and a doe. All of a sudden they started make a fawn for next spring. Never seen that before. No pictures. It's a family forum.
