I shot the buck on October 23 in Alfalfa Co. Oklahoma with a Knight Disc rifle topped with a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14 scope. I was sitting on the top of an old windmill and shot the deer at 25 yards with 130 grs. Pyrodex and 250 gr Barnes Expanders. He gross scores 178" B&C and is my best buck to date. The picture and story are also in the deer hunting section. I was only trying out posting a picture in this section.

Retrieverman Congrats on such a nice buck. As TKO said, “WOW! Awesome buck very nice spread and big mass.”<br>Am also interested to a story on this one if available. It appears you have shot a few this size before because the grin on your face is somewhat limited whereas for me I would have one from ear to ear for a few days that would take catastrophic force of nature to remove. ;D ;D Ed T

My best buck before this one was a 140 class 10 point that I killed in 1997. I have killed a few bucks from 120-130, but I have killed ALOT of deer in my life and figure this is the deer of my lifetime. It is kind of sobering that you may never see a bigger deer than one on the wall at home.

Retrieverman I have yet to claim a 10 pointer and you can imagine my response as suggested from my previous post. I am of the opinion of there is always a person out there more talented at doing something and there is always a bigger buck out there. This is one time I hope someone contradicts themselves by showing up with a picture of a bigger buck in the future and is drunk with joy from an endorphin overdose. If not then I will be eating my own words down the road. ;D Ed T

I would call the smile a "Budwiser" smile. It would take 5 of thier Clydsdales (sp?) to pull the smile off my face. Dick Chayer
