Well, ML deer season here in PA has been over for about a month now. So, There's no time to grow sofa sores ;D. On Feb 20, 2006, I went on a bird hunting expedition to the mountains in west/central PA. I accompanied my friend Phil and his German Shorthair female, Bella, as their guest, on a bird hunt near Houtzdale, PA. I was four for five, and that netted me two ringnecked roosters, a chucker and a bobwhite quail bagged, and a second bobwhite escaped me. But, friend Phil was able to bag it with his second follow-up shot from his over/under shotgun. Oh, yeah. Did I mention that I was PC top to bottom and using my 20ga Center/Mark Tulle de Chase that I built in 1995. A bird in hand is a wee bit of proof in a pic. It's 100% easier baggin' a bird off'n a pointin' dawg . Truely 'tis! All my thanks goes to Bella. And here is another view of the view we had, behind me. The Orange is an insurance thing for where we were . Mentally it wasn't there. (See sephia pic) When facing with the wind, the frock cape kept blowing up like it should and sheilded my neck from the cold winds.

I like your style of preventing sofa sores/calluses. ;D ;D The only seasons open here at the moment for game animals are rabbits and geese. But Turkey season is around the corner. Just wonder if you use that long pole for turkeys also that is if you hunt turkeys.
Congrats on a fine day. Ed

Sorry I took so long to respond, I haven't been around here for a while. I haven't hunted turkey since 1978 when I was shoot at on two consecutive turkey outings. I felt I could purchase one without the chance of being mistaken for it. Now that I have several private properties to hunt, I plan on picking it up again. I did go out last fall with my Winchester 1400 in 12ga. I had several interested the last week but couldn't close the deal. I guess I have to develop a sexier tone to my calling. I sold the Tulle and I'm still waiting for the smoothbore barrel to be made at Colerain Barrel Co. near Altoona, PA. But I plan on using it after I get the barrel and pattern it. The Tulle had a great pattern out to 45 yards.
