Anyone know for sure what the smallest strait wall BPCR round there was in center fire? I'll gladly take any and all info you have on it too.

:)Mark,
I have an old edition of "Cartridges of the World" that lists two straight wall .22s - the .22 Extra Long Maynard...and the .22-15-60 Stevens. The latter (Stevens) may have been a smokeless cartridge since it was introduced in 1896. However, the Maynard was definitely a black powder cartridge...introduced in 1882.
Winchester also had a "nearly" straight walled .22 as well - the .22 Winchester Centerfire, introduced right along with the 1885 Low Wall in 1885.
Stevens also had a .25-21, introduced in 1897.
