Hey guys I was just wondering how often you all change your bowstrings. Do you change when it starts to show beginning signs of fraying? Or change every year or two? Thanks Al

Based on the number of old strings I have, I think I change them every two years. I do not shoot daily but almost weekly most of the year.
My son had one on his bow 6 years until it blew. And he doesn't shoot near as much as I do. Unless you are a fanatic shooter, I would think a string would last at least two years.
But again, if it is continuing to stretch all the time, it is time to upgrade.

AB, usually in 2-3 years I start to see some fraying then I change. Never had one break.
