Only 4 months to go. Archery season starts here on Sept 1. Need to get a new target as mine has rotted out. Need to start practicing.

I hear ya. I 've been practicing a couple times a week at the shooting range. I went bowhunting for javelina last weekend, but suprisingly no animal was seen. Usually after throwing corn , these critters come out and feed after 10 minutes. It must have been the full moon. They most probably ate the whole night. I'll try again next weekend. Buff

Just over 2 months to go. Soon it will be time to go out to the blind and put on some fresh branches and twigs(camaflauge). Might also need a few minor alterations ;D.

Nope. Trees where I hunt aren't suitable for a tree stand. Mine is built on a small hill which is about 6 feet above a couple of game trails. It's one 4 x 4 posts and about 9 feet about the ground, giving me about 15 feet total above the deer. It's 6 x 6 squage and surrounded by poultry wire into which I weave branches with leave for camo. Here a picture from last years camo job.

There's two. The one under the ladder is my wife, ready to catch me if I fall ;D. My son is on the right and his better half on the left. Note how they're staying out of the way incase I fall ;D ;D
