Just got me a set of 2-blades,Magnus and having hard time sharpening em to be hair shaving sharp,like you suppose to. Just can't keep correct angle on it. Help,if you can! What do I do? olegburn

cabelas USE to ( may still ) sell a diamond sharpener..... still do, p/n MT-41-0761 about $35, I had one, works great, I went to mechanicals and didnt need it any more, it does 2/3/4 blade...... and looks like this:

Here's another thought. Spyderco makes a knife sharpener called the sharpmaker. It's expensive. It retails around $60, but you can get them on E-Bay for around $40. I think you can get them from Dick's Sporting goods for around $45 shipped (but not from their store fronts). Anyway, I use it for all my knives. It takes forever to sharpen a really dull blade, but it will take an almost sharp blade and make it razor sharp in a mater of seconds. Very easy to use. If I want it sharper than that, I have to get out my leather strope.

I've just done a bunch of two baldes w/ my Lansky sharpening system . it really works well I have the ultra fine stone also and put a mirror smooth edge on them. they are every bit as sharp as a razor.- the tops of my forearms are shaved clean -Keivn

Lansky or Gatco make the same system...they both work well but my buddy has the gatco and I think it puts an edge on quicker both can be found at bass pro or cabelas- Kevin
